This series of webinars will provide you with virtual live opportunities to learn about what it’s like to be a student at UMD, find out how you can prepare for life at UMD before the first day of classes, and ask questions about what YOU want to know. TheDish Webinar Series will be both live and recorded. Recordings will be available to watch in both the Online Student Orientation Courses and the Family & Guest portal within a week after the event.

We will review when students can expect to receive their room assignment and how to make contact with their new roommate. Join Housing & Residence Life for information about student Move In for the spring semester! We will be giving information about what you can expect on move-in day and how to prepare for your arrival to campus.

Description: Join us for this interactive Dish webinar that walks you through your UMD financial aid process, looks at reading your student bill, and explores the three types of financial aid: 1) Aid you don't repay (scholarships & grants), 2) Aid you must repay (loans), and 3) Aid you earn (student employment). There will be time for questions and answers.
